“… where would we be if we couldn’t dream?
and i know
we get a little crazy
and i know
we get a little loud
and i know
we’re never gonna fake it
we are wild
we are free
we are more than you think
so call us freaks
but that’s just the way we roll…”

It’s good to take time out to get a little crazy and loud. I’m not advocating obnoxiousness or stupidity. Not living all for fun.

What I am all for, though, is intentionally living each day with a dream. Enjoying each moment of the time that we have. Living with joy and finding something to be glad about in each circumstance in which I find myself. Finding a way to praise God with my life in every kind of situation.

Be who you really are. Don’t be fake.

Be real. Let your heart dream. Take life seriously, don’t make a joke of it. But be free to be crazy and pursue your dreams. Don’t worry if other people think you’re not quite all there. Life isn’t about fulfilling the expectations of others. Life is about loving and worshiping God and obeying Him.

“All has been heard; the end of the matter is: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man.” [Ecclesiastes 12:13, Amplified Bible]
