“i know i need You
i need to love You
i love to see You, but it’s been so long
i long to feel You
i feel this need for You
and i need to hear You, is that so wrong?…

i hear You say,
‘My love is over. it’s underneath.
it’s inside. it’s in between.
the times you doubt Me, when you can’t feel.
the times that you question, “Is this for real?”
the times you’re broken.
the times that you mend.
the times that you hate Me, and the times that you bend.
well, My love is over, it’s underneath.
it’s inside, it’s in between.
these times you’re healing, and when your heart breaks.
the times that you feel like you’re falling from grace.
the times you’re hurting.
the times that you heal.
the times you go hungry, and are tempted to steal.
the times of confusion, in chaos and pain.
I’m there in your sorrow, under the weight of your shame.
I’m there through your heartache.
I’m there in the storm.
My love, I will keep you, by My pow’r alone.
I don’t care where you fall, where you have been.
I’ll never forsake you, My love never ends.
It never ends.'”

The road is long and difficult. But God is working. And He will continue to give strength and healing. I know He will.

Jon moved from ICU to a regular room yesterday! His visitation is very limited right now, because he needs lots of rest and quiet time. He will be starting inpatient rehab next week at Miami Valley.

The surgery has affected his word finding and processing, so pray for Jon and Amy in dealing with this and the frustration that comes with it.

Through all the ups and downs… God is here. Through the times we doubt and question “is this for real?”.. through the times we’re healing, the times we’re hurting.. through the mountaintops and the valleys. His love never ends, and He never ever leaves.

Deuteronomy 31:6 says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

Praise our great God for what He is doing in Jon and Amy and their kids’ lives. 😀

And continue to pray and believe… “for complete healing and restored health”, in Amy’s words. For these days and weeks ahead. For the strength needed through it all.

We love you, Daddy!

"We love you, Daddy!"

Praise, pray and believe along with us, please. The story so far…
