“… when you’re worried and you can’t sleep
just count your blessings instead of sheep
and you’ll fall asleep counting your blessings…”

So I am a huge fan of classic movies. Like all of them. The song quoted above is from Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas”, and it’s been dancing around inside my head for days now.

I love the words.. as a song, but also as so much more. Because.. this really is good advice, whether you’re worried or not.

Count your blessings. Be thankful for what you have. Notice what God has done for you and thank Him. Look around you and see how many friends you have. Praise Him for everything He is.

Update: Indianapolis is still tentative.. security stuff has to go through. They gave my daddy a tentative start date of January 11, but he’s thinking probably more like the 18th. Seattle, I think, is still up in the air… far as I know he’s not heard back from them again yet. They’re hiring 2 of 4 and have interviewed him.. two interviews in one day. Indianapolis is a commuting job, while Seattle is a work-from-home position. Arizona is out.. they hired someone who could work for them there.. and the pay there would not have been enough that he could have stayed there during the week.

Thank you so much for all your prayers… They are appreciated more than you’ll ever know. Please keep praying, believing, and praising! For Jon and his family (please catch up on their story if you haven’t already!) and for my daddy’s job.
